Hanukkah：光明節（猶太教的）。 如中國人有農曆，猶太人也有自己的Lunar Calendar(農曆)，
大小節慶都是遵照他們的農曆。 所以每年的Hannukkah日期都不大一樣，

Kwanzaa：寬扎（Kwanzaa）這個字詞是非洲話，用中文解釋就是「第一批的果實」的意思。
這個節日是慶祝非洲裔的美國人(移居在美國的非洲人)他們的「歷史、文化、自豪」等等，
將歷史文化傳承給他們的孩子就是這個節日的中心主旨。
這是一個完完全全屬於美國黑人的節日，由一位黑人學者Maulana Karenga與活動人士所訂立的，
亦可稱為寬札文化節。
寬札文化節每次的慶祝為期七日，從每年的12月26日開始，持續到隔年的1月1日為止。
七天的慶祝日都有不同的主題（Seven Principles），分別是團結自信、團體合作、
互相尊重、合作經濟、創造發明、目標一致、忠實信賴，每天依次點燃紅、黑、綠...等
不同顏色的蠟燭，大部分的人會以穿著傳統服飾、交換禮物、餐會來慶祝節日。
